SUPPORT GUIDE

Need help with a watch face? Start here.

Prepare a useful support report for a DVP Design Garmin watch face, including model, version, expected behaviour and a privacy-safe screenshot.

Identify the face and the watch

Start with the exact watch-face name and the full watch model. Two designs with similar names, or two watches in the same family, are not necessarily interchangeable. A link to the face’s Connect IQ listing removes that ambiguity.

Add the software version shown by your watch and, where available, the installed face version. Describe whether the issue began on first installation, after a settings change or after an update. These observations are more useful than simply saying that the face does not work.

Describe what you can reproduce

Write what you expected and what you actually saw. Include the steps that lead to the issue and any exact error text. Distinguish a failed installation in Connect IQ from a problem on the dial after installation: they are different stages and may need different checks.

If one information field looks wrong, say which one. Do not assume that a visual theme, a missing permission and a device connection problem have the same cause. Support can help narrow the problem using the details you provide.

Keep private information out of the report

A screenshot may make a display issue much clearer. Crop or cover private information first, especially health data, messages, email addresses or location details that are not needed to explain the problem. Do not email a Garmin password, a payment-card number or an account recovery code.

Support messages go to the support mailbox. They do not subscribe you to the newsletter. Marketing emails require a separate request and confirmation.

Send your report

Email danielpdev@icloud.com with the product name in the subject. For a purchase or account issue handled in the Garmin store, use the help route shown in that store as well; this website does not process store payments.

There is no need to reset your watch or delete your activity history just to contact support. Start with a clear report and retain any error message. See the support page for a ready-to-use email template.
