Use the exact model, not just the family
A family name alone is not a compatibility guarantee. When asking about a watch face, use the complete name of your Garmin model, including any size or edition information shown by Garmin. Then open the individual product listing rather than relying on a search-result headline or an old screenshot.
This catalogue intentionally does not attach an unverified list of fēnix, Forerunner, Venu, epix or other models to every design. A face appearing on the website does not mean it supports every Garmin watch.
Check the individual Connect IQ listing
Follow View in Connect IQ from a product page and inspect the supported-device information. Use the selected-device controls in Connect IQ to check the device you actually own. Garmin’s general Connect IQ information explains that the platform offers apps, faces and other features for compatible devices; that is different from saying that every feature works on every device.
If the store does not let you install a particular design for your device, do not treat a similar-looking model as a substitute. Ask about the exact combination of watch and face.
Check options separately
Device support, artwork, available settings and display modes are separate questions. For example, a listing mentioning an always-on option is not enough to establish how that option behaves on an unspecified watch. Read the current listing and the relevant watch manual.
Product prices and availability can also change. This website directs those questions to Connect IQ rather than retaining a price or rating that may no longer be accurate.
Ask a focused question
A useful compatibility question contains the complete watch model and a link or exact name for the face you are considering. Send those details to danielpdev@icloud.com. There is no need to send an account password, payment information or health readings.
